It’s winter in a lot of the world. And in the crypto world… well, it’s winter for everyone.
During this lull in the markets and the natural lull of the business world around this time of year, we decided to get all of our friends at ShapeShift, Ledger, Trezor, KeepKey, Status, Infura, Etherscan, Parity, MetaMask, and TheBitcoinPodcast together to spread some positivity — and security!
Thus, MyCryptoWinter was born!
What is this?
This is a calendar that runs throughout the month of December. Each day (up through the 25th), a new security tip will be revealed.
These tips will be actionable things that you can do to make yourself more secure in the crypto world and in the online world in general.
And you can win prizes, because why not?
How do I win?
Share these tips on Twitter with the hashtag #MyCryptoWinter throughout the month and you’ll be automatically entered to win!
We’ll accept five unique tweet entries from each person that participates, so choose and tweet your favorite five tips throughout the month with the hashtag #MyCryptoWinter!
(Or tweet all of them if you want, but know that five entries is the maximum!)
What are the prizes?

Ten winners will receive a prize pack with:
